Health and safety is our number one priority and we work with Support, Training & Services Ltd (STS), a specialist food safety partner, to ensure all our suppliers meet rigorous food safety standards. Suppliers undergo thorough site audits before becoming an approved supplier and regular re-audits take place throughout the duration of a supplier’s contract with us. This is an established process and will continue.
In addition to the audits performed by STS, we also accept supplier certifications from the following certification bodies: SALSA and BRC. When a supplier holds one of the approved certifications, STS verify and confirm this accreditation. Again, this is an established process and will continue.
We will continue to work with STS to audit suppliers to the rigorous, high standards we expect for hospital catering and patient feeding.
